Visitors on Grover Beach in California are accustomed to seeing surfers catching a wave on the beach. But they were given a surprise when a goat named “Goat-ee” tried balancing his hooves on a board. “Goat-ee” owner, Dayna McGregor, says he initially bought “Goat-ee” to eat weeds in his garden, but after she started following him around everywhere, she soon became his pet.

A woman floating on a surfboard near Santa Cruz, California almost ended up on the lunch menu for a humpback whale over the weekend. Barb Roettger had her camera rolling as two hefty whales popped out of the calm waters not far from the unsuspecting surfer and a pair of kayakers.

The Metrodome collapsed early Sunday morning after a blizzard dumped 17 inches of snow on Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cameras capture the Metrodome roof caving in from too much snow during a blizzard. Because of the damage to the stadium, Monday’s scheduled New York Giants-Minnesota Vikings game was moved to Detroit’s Ford Field!

Last month, air traffic controllers in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, noticed odd, flashing lights on their radar screens, prompting officials to close the local airport “for safety reasons. ” The incident — now “corroborated” by newly released footage purportedly showing the mysterious lights — marked the third time this year that a Chinese airport has been closed as a result to UFO activity.
