Kopacki rit Nature Park is situated in the northeastern part of the Republic of Croatia, i.e. on the wider geographical area of eastern Croatia. Geographically speaking, Kopacki rit is the flat part of Baranja, belonging to Osjecko-baranja County, mainly lowland situated between the Drava and Danube rivers and the state border with the Republic of Hungary. It stretches from the northern part of the Drava where the mouth of the Drava flows into the Danube and upstream on the left and right banks of the Danube towards the former Kazuk port. The state border towards the Republic of Serbia designated the Nature Park’s eastern border.

On a chilly, overcast, first day of autumn, the mass nude photo shoot was titled ‘Mardi Gras: The Base’ and meant to celebrate Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras last weekend.

Dubai in April launch new seven Metro stations

Dubai Metro Dubai Metro has served 10.000.000 passengers since it was launched The Red Line with 10 stations last September, according to latest statistics compiled by Rail Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). New seven of the remaining 18 incomplete Metro stations will be finished by April 25, according to the RTA.

Top 20 America’s Most Miserable Cities 2010

Cleveland, Ohio Forbes expanded the list of cities under consideration this year to include the 200 largest metropolitan statistical areas (in years past Forbes examined 150), which led to a shuffling in the ranks. Any area with a population of more than 245,000 was eligible. This year Cleveland takes the top spot in Forbes third annual ranking of America’s Most Miserable Cities. Cleveland secured the position thanks to its high unemployment, high taxes, lousy weather, corruption by public officials and crummy sports teams.

Super Bowl Super Bowl 2010 kickoff will probably occur a little after 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on February 7, 2010.
In previous years, various sites listed various start times, usually down to the specific minute. For Super Bowl 42, FOX (which was broadcasting the game) announced a kickoff time of 6:17 p.m.; the NFL said 6:18 p.m.; and the site hosting the Super Bowl said 6:30 p.m. It turned out that the actual kickoff was at 6:32 p.m.

EU to restrict Facebook and other social networks

Facebook The European Commission said that the measures it applied to internet technology are needed throughout the economy and society to protect Europeans’ privacy and personal data. The European Commission warned that data protection rules must be updated to keep abreast of technological change to ensure the right to privacy, legal certainty for industry, and the take-up of new technologies. EU rules say that a person’s information can only be used on legitimate grounds, with their prior consent. With the Lisbon Treaty and the Charter of Fundamental Rights now in force, the Commission said it wants to create a clear, modern set of rules for the whole EU guaranteeing a high level of personal data protection and privacy, starting with a reform of the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive.
