If you liked 3D Illusion Street Art by Julian Beever, I’m sure you will like this set of 3D Building Mural Art made by Californian artist John Pugh. He works on a large scale in public and residential areas and his paintings can be seen all over the world from New Zealand to Hawaii – with many telling a story of the area where they are positioned. The paintings, which have fooled many, were created by John Pugh, who specialises in trompe l’oeil – or ‘trick of the eye’ – art. He uses his skills to delude the viewer into seeing 3D scenes painted on flat surfaces.

[…] The Dutch artist Henk Hofstra has really some unique art works. He mostly likes to paint object from the countryside, like beautiful landscapes, cows and colorful flowers. Sometimes he takes another turn and goes to Amsterdam to shoot some amazing city photos. Several times he has mixed up photography and painting. Sometimes he is painting eggs in the middle of a city street, other times a cows head on buildings, or a blue car that is drowning in blue asphalt. Really weird, but exciting and overall beautiful. I guess the people that get to be witness of his work are both amazed and shocked because his art installations are not small at all. Hofstra has his own gallery in Drachten where he has some of his art work exhibited, as well as many other galleries around Netherlands and abroad. Several magazines, newspaper and websites have written about his work and creations. Such talent and creativity is hard to find. Painting on buildings out in the streets has also been done by another artist from California that makes 3D Murals. […]
