A talented Belgian illustrator and photographer Ben Heine is one of artists who like to put his artworks out of boundaries. Originally using a camera, a pencil and simple A3 and A4 paper to bring his art to life, Ben has expanded his techniques to include different methodology. Bens artworks are the fusion of drawing and perfect placement. There are four ways that Ben produce his work. The traditional way, which is to simply draw the picture and hold out his hand with the scenery behind it. The second way is slightly different in that he print a very large picture of a background scenery and then place this on the wall and hold the drawing up to it. This gives him time to re-touch his work during and after. The third is to take a picture of his hand holding the drawing and then digitally match them up with a totally different background that he have photographed and the fourth and final is to use the computer to create a digital background and add a digitally drawn picture to the scene.
